To connect your Lode Ergometer to your CardioCoach software:

• Connect your tablet or laptop to the Lode Ergometer with a USB or Serial Cable
• Power on your Lode Ergometer and swipe your screen across the Lode’s screen with your full hand from right to left to pull up the menu.
• Go to Settings, then Terminal Settings.
• Make sure Communication Protocol is set to Lode Protocol.
• Under Baudrate, select Default.
• Make sure the Communication Interface matches whatever you are using to connect to your tablet or laptop (USB or Serial Cable).
• Now open the CardioCoach software. Select Settings, then Equipment Interface.
• Under Select Device Type, select Lode Ergometer, then Add New.
• Name your the device and select the comport. If the comport is blank, hit Refresh.
• Check Make Default, then click Save.
• To make sure it’s connected correctly, start a new test. (Be sure to select a protocol)
• At the same time, start a test on the Lode by going to the menu and selecting Terminal.
• Once you have started the test on both the Lode and the CardioCoach software, you can hit the Clear button on the Lode Ergometer once the test has started on CardioCoach, if you want the information on both machines to match.
