Spice up your morning with this Pumpkin Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie from Good Life Eats! Super healthy and easy to prepare, this morning smoothie is the perfect way to celebrate fall while eating a breakfast that tastes like pie.

Calories per serving 216 | Protein 5 g | Yields 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup dry rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 3 to 5 pitted dates, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup ice

Directions:

  1. Place the rolled oats in a high powered blender and pulse once or twice to grind the oats to a coarse powder. 
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients in the order listed and pulse until smooth. 
  3. Add more milk to thin, if desired.
